Sparkling Honey MeadFancy something a little different?
Naturally fermented from single source Mt Somers Station Manuka Honey and water from the purest alpine fed aquifers, Somertons Sparkling Honey Mead is distinctive, naturally refreshing and..... a little bit different |
So what is Mead?Honey Mead is the oldest of all fermented alcoholic beverages, in ancient times it packed quite a punch - known as "wine of the gods".
These days here at Somertons we aim for something lighter and a little more refined - we make our Mead using a special blend of the Beechwood Honeydew and Manuka Honeys sourced entirely from the native bush on our mid-Canterbury family farm, Mt Somers Station. |
